Amentum is looking for a Material Coordinator to join our team in Chantilly, VA. You will bring your knowledge and experience in supply chain management and/or logistics and warehouse operations including but not limited to receiving, data entry, scanning, packaging, inventory, shipping, transportation, and audits.
Responsibilities:
This position will account for stock, and issue and order customer materials within the Washington Metropolitan Area as well as tear down and dispose of IT equipment. We are looking for a Material Coordinator professional with proven ability to fulfill customer requirements, be a self-starter, and willing to go the extra mile in meeting changing demands. This is a fast-paced dynamic and physically demanding environment working with other dedicated personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen
Must have an active Top-Secret security clearance with SCI
A minimum of two (2) years’ work experience
Excellent communications skills, ability to use email, and learn customer systems including SAP-Proven
Must be able to lift 50 pounds without help
Must be able to work a regularly scheduled 8-hour shift that will be between 6:00am and 4:30pm daily, Monday through Friday
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with supply operations in the IC
Solid technical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with Systems Applications and Products (SAP)
