Pricing Analyst IV, US Citizenship is required to apply. This is a HYBRID position. You must live within driving distance to our Chantilly, VA office. You will be permitted to work from home most of the time (telework). You will need to work on-site for certain proposals and meetings.
Purpose and Scope:
Lead activities associated with the development of cost/price proposals. Position location is Chantilly, VA – employee may work remotely but will need to work on site in Chantilly, VA headquarters for proposal/pricing support when needed.
Essential Responsibilities:
1) Analyze solicitations to determine proposal requirements.
2) Conduct pricing strategy meetings.
3) Interface with Operations, Business Development and Functional Support groups to obtain/develop data necessary for developing prices or other components of a cost/price volume.
4) Perform as the Cost Volume Manager and lead the development of simple to complex cost/price proposals. This includes the cost model, the cost narrative and any other cost/price volume requirements.
5) Ensure cost/price proposals are developed in accordance with the Company Pricing Guide and other policies and procedures.
6) Arrange and conduct internal proposal reviews (Pink/Red Teams, Sign Offs, etc.).
7) Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure that cost/price proposal components are accurate and responsive to solicitation requirements.
8) Provide pricing guidance and support, as required, to field personnel performing pricing related activities.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 8 years of proposal pricing or financial experience. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Must have demonstrated experience in leading a project. Must have working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Must possess excellent analytical skills. Must have excellent writing, spreadsheet and word processing skills. Must have notable organizational skills and the ability to perform detail-oriented work. Additional education may be substituted for experience or additional experience may be substituted for education (generally 2 years of experience equals 1 year of education). Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. You do not need an active clearance to apply.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Work Environment – Normal office environment. It may be necessary to work extended hours or weekends. Overnight travel may be required. Physical/Mental Demands – Limited physical demands; fast-paced environment often involving multiple projects and tight deadlines
