DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform course instruction using the Instructional System Development (ISD) process. Instructs
technicians in a variety of areas to include but not limited to aircraft theory, aircraft repair
operations maintenance, electronics/avionics, safety and computer applications. This position
will facilitate both classroom and hands-on training for maintenance group and Amentum personnel and act as a subject matter expert in the field of fixed and rotary wing
aircraft maintenance. Instructs technicians in a variety of areas to include but not limited to
aircraft theory, aircraft repair operations maintenance, electronics/avionics, safety and computer
applications. Facilitate both classroom and hands-on training and act as subject matter expert
in the field of fixed and rotary wing aircraft maintenance. Deliver training modules and in the
areas of fixed and rotary wing aircraft maintenance. Develop sound training courses. Support
initiatives that continuously improve the performance quality of the customer’s skills and service
of the training department. Assists in organizing the efforts of the training department, help
other instructors/trainers when needed, follow-up, and ensure accomplishment of all related
issues and work duties as required by governing directives. Evaluate students in course
comprehension by administering course exams. Maintain training records to include test scores
of students, student evaluations and after action reviews. Input required training information into
IMDS Course and test development and administration
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have at least (2) years’ experience aircraft maintenance teaching/training.
Must be able to work both independently and as an effective team member.
Must be fluent in the English language.
Experience in curriculum development and revision is desired.
Desire some experience working with military organizations.
Ability to facilitate and present course material of a technical nature.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a United States Secret security clearance.
