DoD Acquisition / Contracts Management Analyst
Amentum is hiring an Acquisition/Contracts Analyst to provide support to the Terminal Defense Systems (TDS) Program Office.
Essential Responsibilities:
Development of Procurement Requests including Statements of Work (SOWs), contract Section B through J, generation of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) utilizing current Data Item Descriptions and Development of applicable Technical Instructions (TI’s)
Working with program technical staff to translate requirements into executable acquisition products
Utilizing tools to track contract ceiling, funded cost and fee by appropriation, Technical Instructions, procured items and delivery dates/status
Work with the Program Office and Contracting Officer to establish acquisition milestones for the e-milestone system
Support the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) in resolving contract development/execution issues
Plan and execute Acquisition team meetings from agenda and presentation development to recording of minutes and action item tracking
Prepare routine correspondence and documentation, program presentations and briefings, and program management reports
May require some supervisory duties
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field and 7 years of job related experience. Additional equivalent experience may be substituted for degree.
Ability to be Standard Procurement System (SPS) trained and proficient within three (3) months of hire date
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power-Point
Good written, communication and organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work
U.S. secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Current user of Standard Procurement System (SPS)
Previous experience in Contract Management Support with Navy/DoD program
