Seeking an on-site HR professional for an upcoming contract in Hot Springs, AR   This position will be responsible for the daily oversite and HR support for up to 200 employees who work on site across two shifts. The HR Generalist will be responsible for all HR support from onboarding new hires, providing daily guidance to employees and managers on HR-related questions, issues, initiatives, managing employee relation issues, compensation, performance, and termination actions. 

Essential duties and responsibilities for the position include the following:

Conducts New Hire Orientation and ensures smooth onboarding for new hires.
Responds to questions and concerns from employees and supervisors ensuring support for all HR needs.
Ensures compliance with Federal, State and SCA regulations.
Processing of terminations, conducts exit interviews, tracks turnover and works with leadership to implement actions to enhance retention.  Tracks completion of corporate wide efforts – Performance Management, Ethics Training, and other as needed.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
Proficiency with Microsoft office professional software and ability to easily adapt to new systems.
Ability to obtain and maintain a federal secret clearance if required

Desired Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Workday HRIS systems

Computer skills required: Computer literate
Express and exchange ideas clearly in the English language, written and verbal

Ability to show initiative and commitment to the company’s goals
Ability to readily adapt to changing requirements

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects office equipment; use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to Lift up to 40 pounds, bend, reach, carry, stoop, kneel, climb, etc.

Work Environment:

This position is performed in an operations environment
