Resident Manager
Amentum is seeking a Resident Manager to support the US embassies in Beijing, China and Moscow, Russia. The selected candidate shall be responsible for the competent performance of the contracted services and shall have full authority to act for the Contractor in the field. The selected candidate will report to the WDC Program Director and DoS Facilities Manager at post. The duties and responsibilities listed below are not mutually exclusive.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide overall management, guidance, and technical supervision to the Contractor staff, ensuring timely and quality performance and professionalism.
In coordination with the Regional Security Officer shall ensure that all contractors receive an annual RSO refresher briefing on relevant security regulations, procedures, and policies.
Shall be available at all times to discuss contract-related issues with the COR and to supervise daily operations
Shall cooperate fully with officials at post on all security and personal conduct issues.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 7+ years of specialized experience in the Business Management field, including employee and/or labor relations work, guidance, counseling, and supervising or directing a large workforce (40-60 people).
A BA or BS degree in Business Management, Construction Management, Operations Management or other related field that provides substantial background in business management, human resources, financial management, and operations management.
Must have a technical background and be capable of safely and properly leading a technical workforce with responsibilities for the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, Electrical and Mechanical Building systems, Building Automation Systems, or Generators
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to write, ability to communicate orally.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued Top Secret security clearance.
