Job Description
The Cloud Ops Platform Engineer position will provide the ability to make a significant impact to the mission while also allowing the candidate to grow their skills and career. The successful candidate will need to be able to build our CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid deployment of our applications and services.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience performing development and deployment activities on a private/public cloud solution or a comparable high availability environment. An Associate level DEVOPS cert is suitable for 3 years experience cloud development experience.
Containerization of applications and or services (Docker)
CI/CD Pipeline Development with Gitlab
Linux experience with scripting
Bash
Python
AWS experience
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodology
OS patching for Linux and/or Windows
Excellent communicator (written and verbal)
Self-starter
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
