Job Description
BAE Systems, Inc. is currently looking for a Full Stack Developer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join an innovative team of developers in Chantilly, VA. This position supports the development of mission-critical applications for a federal government client focused on national security.
The Full Stack Developer candidate must have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline.
12 years of experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
5 years of experience architecting software solutions based on customer requirements.
5 years of experience leading technical teams.
3 years of experience designing and implementing automated build and deployment pipelines and supporting platform.
Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Excellent development experience with Python, Java, Scala.
Experience with AWS.
Experience with Databricks.
Experience with designing and implementing cloud-based Big Data and Data analytics pipelines.
12+ years of development experience on large scale multi-tier/full-stack Enterprise applications
Excellent experience with software development full life cycle on large scale multi-tier/full-stack Enterprise applications
Development knowledge of any web-based UI framework (Vue. js, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Struts, Spring MVC, etc. )
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including reading comprehension, writing correspondences, leading meetings with customers and providing demos.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with Agile methodology and incremental product delivery process.
