BAE Systems provides comprehensive cybersecurity professional services such as threat analysis, penetration testing, SOC design & deployment, and risk reduction. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager for the Washington, D. C. area to lead an innovative cybersecurity contract involving data analytics including machine learning, malware analysis, and the development of mitigation solutions.

We are looking for an experienced senior Analytics Effectiveness Engineer that will overall responsibilities for the measurement and improvement of performance of operationalized data analytics. Their focus will be the accurate measure and reporting of false positive rate and false negative rate of analytics in both simulated and real-word environments. They will assist the analytics development team of necessary improvements throughout the analytic lifecycle. They will have a hybrid work location including remote as well onsite at the government’s Arlington, VA location.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
BS degree in a related technical field
10+ years’ experience measuring countermeasure application effectiveness in IT environments. This includes:
Developing tools and techniques for evaluating system security countermeasures performance
Developing and implementing process and technical security improvements
Integration of new architectural features into existing infrastructures, designs cyber security architectural artifacts,
Providing architectural analysis of cyber security features and related existing system capabilities
U. S. Citizenship required, a current Top Secret security clearance, and the ability to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information access.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification desired
Network engineering certifications desired.
Advanced knowledge of cyber threats, tools, techniques, and processes
