We are looking for experienced Windows Systems Administrator to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
We are actively seeking a Systems Administrator with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degrees are preferred in one or more of the disciplines described below where specific skills may include the following:
Experience with ServiceNow
Experience working in Agile methodology
Experience working in other emerging technologies
The System Administrator will perform Release Management and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support, performing the following activities (including but not limited to):
Provide release management support to ServiceNow application developers
Analyze release candidate forms for completion and details
Move update sets from development environments to production
Assist ServiceNow developers with troubleshooting any issues with update set pushes
Monitor overall health of an enterprise ServiceNow platform
Provide day-to-day O&M support to application developers and users of the ServiceNow platform
Respond to and assist in troubleshooting ServiceNow platform incidents
Monitor the platform incident queue and provide status updates to reporting users
Participate in Agile ceremonies and planning sessions
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
System administrator experience on an enterprise tool such as ServiceNow (strongly preferred), SharePoint, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamic 365 (D365)
Experience providing customer support and general IT knowledge
Knowledge/experience with the Agile development methodology
Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Aptitude and willingness to learn/strengthen ServiceNow knowledge and work with other emerging technologies/tools as opportunities demand
