BAE Systems is looking for a Lustre/Infiniband Engineer who has worked extensively with Lustre and Infiniband Networks and who ha thse ability to create and troubleshoot – ext3, ext4, gpfs, zfs and Lustre file systems.
Additionally, candidates with experience in xyratek equipment, sonexion equipment or any other lustre implementation are greatly preferred.
Candidates must have hands on experience with Infiniband Networks including experience with installation, setup, and troubleshooting, software installation and ability to compile source code on Linux OS.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI with appropriate poly
Systems programming and/or software engineering
Practical experience supporting, debugging, and improving production systems and services
Experience using Linux and other Open Source Software
Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code frameworks
Experience with one or more HPC-specific technologies listed below required
Distributed parallel filesystems (Lustre, GPFS, parallel NFS)
Batch scheduling systems (slurm, torque, SGE, AWS batch, AWS parallel cluster)
High-performance networking
IAT Level II Certification Required
Candidates shall have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field,and have at least ten years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment OR shall have five years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree, and have at least ten years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Production experience working with a public cloud, AWS preferred
