Geospatial Software and Systems Engineer

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to support Cloud-based software systems in support of the client. You’ll develop your skills in software system support while gaining experience in mission data dissemination, application hosting, CI and CD, and machine learning tools. Grow your skills by merging system processes and documentation with strategic growth and risk management to create efficient and dependable software products. 5+ years of experience with testing or developing software applications
2+ years of experience in Geospatial systems engineering and geospatial application development
Experience with deploying complex layers in GeoServer
Experience with utilizing Databricks data storage and transformation
Top Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire
Nice If You Have:
Experience with testing Cloud-based architectures
Experience with test automation
Experience with an Agile release methodology
Experience with Databricks or Nifi
Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
