Construction Manager
Key Role:
Conduct construction inspections to ensure conformance to design specifications and building codes, generate reports, review shop drawings and submittals, and provide the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR) with a recommendation for approval or disapproval. Notify the government in writing of non-compliant safety hazards, recommended corrective actions, and verify completion of corrections and actions identified. Manage project design and construction efforts, including schedule, funding, and day-to-day project oversight, and prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders. Assist the client’s Contracting Officer (CO) and COTR with acquisition planning, execution, and administration, assist the CO and COTR with conducting pre-bid and pre-construction site visits with the COTR, and provide invoice supporting information to the COTR for payment. Monitor project schedules and budgets, provide technical guidance and assistance on contracting and construction-related issues, direct design efforts, recommend construction documents for approval, and provide oversight of any follow-on maintenance programs. Optimize performance, cost, and schedule by ensuring project objectives are achieved on schedule and at the lowest cost compatible with user requirements and conduct design reviews with the customer. Ensure integration of all systems, including IT, telephone, security, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with conducting construction inspections to ensure conformance to design specifications and building codes and generating reports
Knowledge of managing project design and construction efforts, including schedule, funding, and day-to-day project oversight
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Advanced Controls Systems

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
