Wireless Systems Engineer
The Challenge:

What if you could combine your hands-on wireless expertise and cyber security knowledge to integrate, test, and deliver robust systems for the customer? We’re looking for an engineer who can enable unique mobile and wireless solutions for our customer that will address some of their greatest challenges.
As a Cyber engineer on our project, you’ll provide systems engineering services to support the client’s mission. You’ll coordinate directly with end users and developers to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to meet your customer’s unique needs. In addition to helping vet and assess solutions in an operational environment, you’ll have the flexibility to investigate and prototype new solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You’ll develop and advanced methods, theories, and research techniques to the investigation and resolution of a variety of challenges, including quick turn-around capabilities and longer term, strategic solutions. You’ll be able to broaden your skillset while helping customers overcome their most difficult and unique challenges.

You Have:
5+ years of experience with system or network design, implementation, integration, and testing
5+ years of experience with Wi-Fi, cellular, and mobile technologies and protocols
2+years of experience with Radio Frequency (RF) technology, including antenna design, RF planning, and beamforming technology
Experience with conducting testing, training, and operational exercises
Experience with Linux, Python, and VMware
Knowledge of software vulnerabilities and exploits
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with KaliLinux and Wireshark
Experience with software development
Experience with Cybersecurity products, including anti-virus and endpoint security variants and methods
Experience with end point and network forensic analysis
Knowledge of networking protocols, routing, and firewalls
Knowledge of firmware or embedded systems
Knowledge of operating systems at the Administrative or Kernel level
Knowledge of the intelligence community’s mission, vision, goals, and values
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is to (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
