Defensive Cyber Operations Planner, Senior
Key Role:
Provide in-depth and technical knowledge in DoD planning to analyze orders and meet client mission objectives. Support the execution of deliberate and crisis plans. Provide guidance and assistance to Crisis Action Team, Boards, Bureaus, Centers, Cells, and Working Groups, including DoD, exercise support, and Maritime Planning Groups. Assist with drafting, coordinating, and attaining approval of plans and orders to subordinate commanders, external agencies, and combatant commands. Participate in joint planning to support initiatives. Analyze Concepts of Operations for the forces bringing them together in a global and holistic mission with clear guidance on how to operate and standardize and defend networks proactively. Standardize tactics, techniques, and procedures and expertise for all forces across the client and provide clearly stated operational needs to the client. Work independently with minimal oversight.
Basic Qualifications:??
10 years of experience with supporting military or government cryptologic or defensive cyber missions
Experience in mission planning with a military or government Operational Planning Team (OPT)
Experience with end point security, including cloud-based internet isolation (CBII), Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), and Spinnaker
Experience with data analytics
Knowledge of service component relationships with higher level commands and subordinate task forces
Ability to conceptualize, develop, and staff courses of action through organization leadership to orchestrate employment of DoD capabilities worldwide
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS Diploma or GED?
Additional Qualifications:??
Experience with drafting, coordinating, and attaining approval of plans and orders

Experience with drafting Navy Orders, tasking order, and operations order
Experience with developing concepts of operation (CONOP)
Experience as an Action Officer (AO)
Experience as an IP Officer

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
