Systems Administrator
The Challenge:
We’re looking for a Linux systems administrator to be part of an Agile team supporting implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mission critical systems. You’ll perform systems administration, systems integration, network engineering, and configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of software services. You’ll review and conduct test plans and procedures, review System Security Plans, integrate GOTS/COTS with customized hardware, configure applications to utilize customized infrastructure. and maintain multiple networks.
We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. You Have:
Experience with RedHat Linux
Experience with system and network administration
Experience with scripting languages
Knowledge of network hardware and configuration, routing requirements, and mission hosting
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Technology and 15+ years of experience with systems administration, or 20+ years of experience with systems administration in lieu of a degree
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
