Software Engineer CNO Central MD
The Opportunity:
As a computer network operations (CNO) specialist, you know how embedded and application developers, reverse engineers, and vulnerability analysts all play key roles in the CNO capability development lifecycle. We’re looking for someone like you to develop your problem-solving skills in a rapidly evolving systems security research and development environment.
As a CNO capability development specialist on our team, you’ll support full project lifecycles. Working with an agile team of experienced professionals, you’ll support the reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis of diverse software problems. You’ll inform operational parameters for complex systems and leverage artificial and machine learning to influence the delivery of your work. Using your network operations knowledge, you’ll help determine what the art of the possible is and what can be done—and then you’ll bring it to life for your clients.
You Have:?
Experience with developing software using Java, C, C++, JavaScript, Python, GO or Ruby
Experience in network security, hardware security, CNO disciplines of network, hardware, or software protection and exploitation
Experience in working with soft version control systems, including GIT or SVN
Experience with SLDCs, including Agile and Scrum software development methodologies
Ability to write unit and system tests
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree by Winter 2022 or Summer 2023
Nice If You Have:?
Experience in telecommunications operations, computer network operations, SIGINT collection operations, information security (INFOSEC) and information assurance, or research and development
Experience with computer programming in C, C++, Python, and some assembly
Experience in the fields of Computer Engineering, CS, EE, or Applied Mathematics
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
