CACI is seeking a Signal Processing Engineer to join our mission-critical Intel team in Fort Meade, MD. This position requires a TS/SCI FSP. Under limited guidance, you will provide Radio Frequency (RF) Communications and Digital Signal Processing support to develop Software Defined Radio (SDR) solutions. You will work with a broad range of technologies on a multi-disciplinary design team.
What You Will Get to Do in This Role:
Develop capabilities for detection, demodulation, and processing of RF communications signals
Develop analytical techniques for identification, characterization, and survey of RF communications
Research and reverse engineer new signal processing techniques and modern RF communications
Perform signals and protocol analysis and reverse engineering in support of RF communications
Lead small teams to accomplish project goals
Mentor junior engineers in digital signal processing techniques
You Will Bring the Following Skills and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline and 6-8 years of related experience or a combination of education and related experience.
4 years of additional experience may be substituted for degree
Experience with RF Communications and Digital Signal Processing software development
Experience programming in a Linux environment using at least one of the following: C/C++ and/or Python
Experience with detection, demodulation, and processing of modern RF communications systems
Experience programming in a Linux environment using at least one of the following: C/C++ and/or Python
Desired: Knowledge of Software Defined Radio (SDR) frameworks and standards such as Software Communications Architecture (SCA), GNU Radio, REDHAWK
Good verbal and writing skills with attention to detail and the ability to create technical documentation and plans
Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications
