What You’ll Get to Do:
In this role, you will assist the Army in developing Operations Plans and Strategies for complex technology programs involving significant technical and schedule risks, and you will recommend innovative and practical approaches to meeting a complex set of goals and constraints. The primary focus of the role is to provide acquisition program strategy, planning and documentation support to guide military capabilities through the the requirements of the DoD 5000 Defense Acquisition System.
More About the Role:
Responsible for support of program business and functional operations. Duties may include identifying and facilitating resolution of operational issues and acting as a liaison between technical and functional areas. May support the Program Manager in planning, monitoring the program activities. These types of jobs often perform a subset of project management tasks and often do not typically have profit and loss (P&L) responsibility. Typically reports to the Program Manager. Responsible for supporting the program manager in executing, monitoring one or more aspects of the program, e.g. Program support functions – Program Operations Manager, PMO Lead, Resource Manager, Risk Manager, etc.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Associate, Bachelor, or Master’s degree. At least 5 years relevant experience. Knowledge and demonstrated skills in: Supporting organizational-level operations and information with higher headquarters, subordinate organizations, and external stakeholders. Managing taskers and staffing packets. Developing and publishing organizational-level operations functional policies and procedures, orders, Letters of instruction, other directives, and communications Controlling, managing, and scheduling organizational resources
