This is a 100% on-site position at the ARAT Lab in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Telework or remote work is not available.
CACI is seeking a RF Systems Engineer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. If you are looking to show your strong technical knowledge in software integration, firmware, threat load and radio frequency system baseline while working in a team environment we would like to speak with you.
What You’ll Get to Do:
As a Senior RF Systems Engineer, you will be tasked with supporting the ARAT-Software Engineering Activity Ground (ARAT-SE Ground) Team. Additional responsibilities will include:
Perform analysis of Army EW system.
Perform diagnostics for Army EW system issues.
Conduct unit/system testing.
Coordinate system updates with the OEM.
Perform configuration management for system and documentation updates.
More About the Role:
You will be part of an integrated team to maintain effectiveness in defeating worldwide threats while using your problem-solving skills and able to work independently while in support of on-going projects managed from the SEC ARAT Program Office.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
An active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical discipline.
Experience supporting the development of Software Defined Radios (SDRs).
5 years of experience as a system engineer for RF systems to include the following:
Translating system user requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design.
Development of test strategies.
Solving engineering problems (or managing the solution of engineering problems) in the functional area to which assigned.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Preferred background in Electrical Engineering.
Experience in development of RF system detection and attack algorithms.
Experience as a technical subject matter expert in support of electronic and radio frequency systems.
Experience in VHDL development.
Ability to develop and improve software development life-cycle processes.
Experience in MATLAB and LabView firmware development.
Strong Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word skill.
Experience with global telecommunications protocols and radio frequency communication standards.
Experience in the design, development, and test of electronic warfare and electronic attack systems.
Experience working in a CMMI Level 3 or higher environment.
Experience in systems integration.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $65,300-$134,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
