We are seeking mission focused Systems Administrators for our Advanced Solutions Group (ASG)!
This opportunity offers very rewarding and unique benefits, which equates to 5% of compensation on TOP of your base salary! Within ASG, our programs are focused on designing, developing, and delivering intelligence. With Electronic Warfare and Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) focused on collecting, processing, and exploiting intelligence data to provide decision advantage to analysts, warfighters, and policymakers.

What You’ll Get to Do:
As the Systems Administrator you’ll work with the team using agile development methodologies to support the development environment for a common software baseline delivered to multiple customers. As someone who thinks outside the box, you’ll enjoy designing and implementing solutions to interesting engineering problems involving both traditional System Administration as well as DevOps. You will help find ways to make automation do the heavy lifting of DevOps. Your experience with the Linux operating system, bash shell, and scripting in languages such as Python will be indispensable assets.
More About this Role:
We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join a technically diverse team that develops and supports infrastructure for software based signal processing applications. The successful candidate will provide hands on support to implement baseline changes, maintain DevOps pipelines to ensure timely delivery of software on customer schedules, troubleshoot supported software applications and equipment, create and maintain required documentation, install and setup servers and workstations, and will interface with internal teams as well as external customer support organizations. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on a diverse team are critical. Must have good organizational skills and be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining the DevOps environment to ensure software delivery
Maintaining operating system baselines utilizing configuration management tools and ensuring compliance with corporate and government security standards
Ensuring secure configuration of systems with Puppet
Linux scripting (bash, python, perl, etc)
Configuring Linux workstations and servers
Diagnosing hardware failures, repairing failed equipment
Interfacing with external customers on issues, diagnosing and fixing customer problems
Deploying operating system level patches to factory systems
Familiarity with security requirements for classified environments
Able to setup and move workstations and other equipment
Other system administrative and documentation duties, as needed
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
Linux (Red Hat) System Administration experience
Network familiarity (CISCO)
Desired qualifications:
Experience with scripting
DoD 857.1 certification (Security+ or better)
Experience with RPM management (Spacewalk)
Experience with Continuous Integration environments
Experience with configuration management tools (Git)
