What You’ll Get to Do

As a Quality Manager you will be part of a leadership team working to execute on a new large-scale SIGINT Government program, with an emphasis on signal processing and mission control applications, system integration and hardware assembly. Some of the problems faced are frequently complex and require broad-based solutions that impact areas outside of immediate responsibility. You will provide quality assurance leadership with extensive background in process development, quality management, and performance management in a system engineering and product development (Software and hardware) environment. You will support the development, fielding and maintenance of global mission critical systems supporting the warfighter. This position reports to the Program Manager and supports:

Monitoring/audit of existing frameworks, systems, and credentials, including project management framework tailoring, and various credentials
Audit of project compliance to AS9100, contractual requirements (both SOW/PWS) and selected FAR clauses
Assist in successful program/project execution and achievement of excellence
Lead the program quality team

More About the Role

This position is in Sterling, VA. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development and deployment of processes, templates, training, and tools that contribute significantly to the reduction of project risk and the achievement of customer satisfaction. 

Specific responsibilities include:

Standardization of quality management approach
Internal audit support to assess our quality posture (technical and non-technical), develop and implement processes and procedures to increase quality and monitor quality going forward
Obtain and maintain AS9100 certification for the program
Support with project tailoring and assessment against the CACI project management framework and CACI QMS, to include project level standardized quality metric development
Quality plan development and capture of quantitative metrics to assess quality
This position will require work on site in Sterling, VA in both SCIF and unclassified environments
Provide leadership and guidance to the quality team which will include quality inspection and quality engineering resources.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

US Citizenship is required along with active TS/SCI security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in management or engineering related field and 10 years of relevant experience
5+ years as a Quality Manager
Proven success developing processes and leading quality initiatives
Proven success in developing quality enhancing processes and procedures
Proven success in developing training/learning programs
Quality Assurance and Control experience on a hardware/software integrated program
Familiar with Agile software development
AS9100 Lead Auditor Trained
Proven expertise in AS9100 and/or CMMI
Top Secret security clearance
Excellent communication skills.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

MS or MBA degree in a technical, business or related field
Experience interfacing with DCMA
LSS Master Black Belt certified
PMP, CSEP or other professional certification
