What You’ll Get to Do:
We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer/Admistrator to maintain our enclave for a small but very powerful team of data analysts and threat hunters focused on a wide range of cyber security issues. The ideal candidate will jump right in, take ownership of our infrastructure, and work directly with users to support a wide variety of engineering and systems administration tasks. If you are the kind of person who likes a challenge, takes ownership of their domain and tasks, works well with very little supervision, and enjoys a job whose output is measured in impact to national security objectives, this might be the role for you. A wide variety of tasks come to our Cloud Engineer/Administrator, including but not limited to: MongoDB backups, creating certificates, configuring EC2 instances, writing application logs to S3 buckets, investigating a wide variety of troubleshooting or performance-related tasks aimed at optimizing performance, outreach and direct interactions with end users, setting up watchdog processes on service instances, profiling disk and ElasticSearch usage, and overall problem-solving.
