This Geospatial Analyst role provides technical support to customer projects involving dynamic geospatial information to include social media and foundational intelligence data. Key types of analytics expected will be fusing multiple sources of information into key findings, and geo-temporal pattern-of-life analysis to provide insight to customer requirements. This position will assist in the implementation of emerging capabilities, using leading edge technologies to perform analysis and derive information from large geospatial data sets. Your efforts will help to validate information and produce intelligence assessments that enable informed decision-making at the senior Military and Government level.
TASKS:
Assist in planning, developing, and delivering tailored intelligence capabilities and tools training to supported customer.
Provide quality assurance and quality control over developed products to ensure they meet client standards and follow Director of National Intelligence (DNI) standards.
Provide support to Request For Support (RFS) responses developed by supported units.
Answer requests for support from other intelligence consumers, and work closely with a wide variety of units, institutions, and partners
Work closely with other members of the team to monitor and identify capabilities and vulnerabilities of targeted enemy organizations; identify trends, patterns, and key nodes; and highlight their relationships to the targeted enemy networks.
Assist with the development and maintenance of analytic policies and procedures for processing, production, and dissemination of intelligence.
As required, brief intelligence assessments and may represent the client organization in fielding technical questions to support key assessments.
Gather requirements, determine scope, and estimate hours needed to develop and deliver custom geospatial analytic solutions to our government customer.
Produce custom information layers derived from social media and other open-source data sources using COTS and proprietary software.
Collaborate daily with cross-functional internal and external team members and occasionally third-party vendors, sometimes as project lead, and other times under other team member leadership.
Identify and implement improvements to system designs and processing methodologies to improve efficiency, scale, reliability, and mitigate operational risk.
Maintain production line operations and other tasks as needed to satisfy customers and fulfill contractual commitments
Advise, train, mentor, and learn from other team members on technical topics
Requirements:
Minimum clearance requirement is TS/SCI with polygraph.
3+ years of experience GIS, remote sensing, or certification/degree in Geospatial Analysis
One to three years’ experience as an intelligence analyst
More than five years of military experience, and/or a combination of military and IC Agency experience, and be well-versed in all areas of Geospatial military intelligence
Expert understanding of GEOINT analytic tools such as ArcGIS, Arc-Pro, ENVI, and SOCET
Previous experience providing support to cyberspace operations
More than five years of experience providing direct GEOINT support to network analysis in support of attack the network operations – including cyberspace operations
Master’s degree in GEOINT related field (geospatial engineering, cartography)
More than 15 years of military experience, and/or a combination of military and IC Agency experience, including recent combat deployments, and be well-versed in all areas of Geospatial military intelligence
Practical understanding of analytic Intel tools such as, Analyst Notebook, DCGS-A, and Palantir
