What You Will Do:
our proficiency in technical targeting, operations management and analysis of multiple sources of data will allow you to develop, propose and implement technical operations. You will utilize your technical acumen and clear, concise writing and presentation skills to enhance and communicate client projects to decision makers. Your knowledge of computer operations and computer security will guide development of both short- and long-term operations using a variety of tools. Personnel for this position must possess abroad technical depth across the cyber security spectrum, to include networking and traffic flow analysis, threat vectors, vulnerability assessment, operations, Linux, Windows, and data-driven problem solving. In this role, you will be challenged to dig into various platforms to discover data anomalies. You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with required polygraph
Minimum of 15 years experience providing technical operations support on behalf of IC customers
Working knowledge of blended operations and capabilities.
Ability to apply good judgement with risk awareness relative to safeguarding operations.
Working knowledge of cyber operations and tools.
Demonstrated experience managing large scale technical operations including tool development, operational considerations, coordination with partners, and turning plans into action through a formal approval process.
Demonstrated experience working across IC partners.
Demonstrated experience using customer tools for written communications/correspondence, operational process documentation.
Demonstrated experience managing cyber or other technical operations throughout the operational lifecycle.
Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills; be able to work in a high-impact, busy office, and work well in an open and collaborative environment.
Working knowledge of operational tradecraft skills, application of tools and the laws and regulations governing operational activities.
Ability to interact and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and to convey technical info to a non-technical audience.
Demonstrated Technical Intel Officer (TIO) support skills and expertise.
Experience conducting network penetration testing, information security red teaming exercises, network incident response, network and/or malware forensics.
Experience conducting or providing direct technical targeting/target analysis support to USIC computer network operations.
Understanding computer networks (including wireless) and a familiarity with technical capabilities and field operations.
Demonstrated understanding of the entire cyber operational lifecycle.
Demonstrated expertise in: computer and network operating systems, hardware/network management tools, and equipment protocols
Demonstrated experience with security monitoring and log event triage using Splunk SPL.
Demonstrated extensive experience with utilizing security products such as network monitoring devices to detect attacks.
Demonstrated senior knowledge of cyber security and infosec practices.
Experience performing network packet inspection.
Hands on experience with Linux and network data.
Strong understanding of incident response to includes: research and identification of attack vectors, malware mitigation and removal, and event documentation.
Experience and ability to research the latest security developments in the relevant operating systems to identify organizational impact.
Demonstrated experience developing security analytics such as Splunk or ELK stack to detect compromises.
