CACI is currently looking for an experienced Model Based System Engineer (MBSE) to join our team developing next generation signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare systems for the Department of Defense. What You’ll Get to Do
As a Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE), you will be responsible for engaging in design, development, test, and delivery of our products in support of our advanced systems. You will be working within multi-disciplinary hardware, software, system integration, and data analysis/collection teams who are creating systems in support of the Department of Defense and other Intelligence Community agencies.
More About the Role
You will work with architects, developers, engineers, and operations personnel to develop digital models of the system architecture and implementation. You will provide Model-Driven Design and Implementation (MDDI) training to CACI system engineers/architects utilizing CACI’s Model-Driven Design and Implementation for System Engineering (MDDI SE) on working projects. You will support the team’s continuous integration and continuous delivery practices, working with the project manager and development lead to ensure sprints are complete and delivered on time. This position is located in Sterling Virginia.
Use a model-based approach to address all technical-oriented program requirements
Analyze client requirements and collaborate with enterprise architects, program managers and functional community stakeholders to produce architecture products and artifacts to support leadership decision making and implementation
Support developing integrated architectures and analytic reports in support of customer deliverables
Develop and provide MBSE training to CACI system engineers/architects in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) on working projects
Provide best practices as well as technical competencies in CACI’s MBSE approach
Participate in executable architecture research activities to support CACI’s MBSE approach capabilities and address specific government project needs
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
US Citizenship is required along with active TS/SCI security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent and 5 to 10 years of related experience
Deep knowledge of industry best practices and methods with respect to enterprise architecture, Cloud, MBSE, standards, and tools
Knowledgeable regarding system engineering standards such as INCOSE, OMG
Understanding of current and future roadmap for Model Based System Engineering technologies.
Experience in performing analysis, design, development, and implementation of diverse, enterprise-wide processes and application systems.
Familiar with architecture modeling tools (e.g., Cameo EA and other NoMagic/Dassault Systems products)
Experience relevant to the following areas:
Unified Modeling Language (UML)
XML/XPath
Agile Methodology
Enterprise Architecture (must have previous experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
Unified Profile for DoDAF/MoDAF(UPMD) and SySML
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
Security+
Navy IT experience
Prior mission systems engineering experience
