Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Software Developer at GDIT. You’ll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. Here, your work will have meaning and impact as you deliver your best every day.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Required Experience:
Experience developing web applications and web services using Ruby (or similar languages).
Familiarity with Oracle, Postgress, MySQL or similar databases as the back-end of a web application.
Experience utilizing Agile methodology.
Demonstrated experience working independently and in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of and successfully lead a development activity from start to finish.
Demonstrated experience interacting with customers, users and management.
Experience with Rails, SQL, and/or CSS.
Experience developing in JS frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.) and front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap.
Experience with AWS and/or experience mitigating, developing and/or managing web applications in the cloud
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
