JOB DESCRIPTION
Systems Engineer Senior Advisor
GDIT is looking for a System Administrator (SA) team member to support an advanced enterprise Government ATO’d system, based at a modern, program-operated data center facility in Manassas, VA. The SA will be responsible for administering and managing Linux based systems in a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).

Technical skills are a must, but just as important is the enjoyment of communicating with your team, within the GDIT program team, and with the Government customer. Presentation skills, both verbal and written are critical, as you will regularly interact with the team and the client.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience in an enterprise technical environment and/or technical management capacity
Active Top Secret Clearance
Solid Red Hat Linux Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and comprehend technical details clearly.
Experience with a 24/7 SLA support role
Engineering skills with some of the following:
Windows Server
Active Directory
Red Hat IDM
PKI/TLS
ICAM
PIV
DNS
ESXi/VMware
Ansible
US citizenship required.
***This position will be on call for a week, once a month for 24/7 support.
