Our work depends on Systems Operations Specialist Sr Advisor joining our team to work collaboratively with customers, stakeholders and users to diagnose and troubleshoot issues encountered in applications.
HOW A SYSTEMS OPERATIONS SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Performs analysis, administration, and end-user training of financial systems and applications
Acts as users’ proponent to recommend software improvement to the development team resulting in an enriched user experience
Writing technical documentation for applications and maintaining that documentation online and offline
Works with team and portfolio leads to create a prioritized list of business needs
Identify and recommend more cost-effective business processes
Assists application users with generating financial reports
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
Required Experience: 11+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills:
Managing permissions and experience with LDAP or Access Control Layer (ACL)
Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues encountered in applications
Writing technical documentation for applications and maintaining that documentation online and offline
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Required Skills and Abilities:
Providing access controls to reporting applications
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Assists application users with generating financial reports
Preferred Skills:
Experience producing training material for reporting and software applications.
Working knowledge of Cognos, Tableau or PowerBI
Experience with SQL or PL/SQL
Location: Chantilly, VA, on customer site
