JOB DESCRIPTION
GDIT is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Associate to join our Dedicated Procurement team as part of our Supply Chain organization. This Associate will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating strategic procurements that are aligned with enterprise strategies and objectives. This team’s main responsibility is to purchase items required by our customer that are on both a catalog and ad-hoc basis. This team provided cradle to grave procurement support to our Program.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Manage the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements.
Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.
Management of RFQ/RFP’s from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution
Completion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc. and loading to our procurement system.
Ensures high internal customer satisfaction.
Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
5+ years in government contracts and/or strategic procurement
Location: Remote
US Citizen
Ability to receive a Secret Clearance upon acceptance of the role (Clearance is not required to start the position but must be obtained once on-boarded)
Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company.
Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data.
Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently.
Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process.
