Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an All-Source Intelligence Analyst to support the United States Forces Korea (USFK), Assistant Chief of Staff, J2 (ACofS, J2) and the Joint Intelligence Operations Center – Korea (JIOC-K) in their mission to provide timely intelligence to Commander, USFK, Combined Forces Command, the combined battle staff, and war fighter component commanders!
The JIOC-K’s efforts focus on detecting enemy threats, managing intelligence, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) activities, analyzing enemy actions and information to determine enemy’s probable courses of action.
The overall analytic effort strengthens Defense Intelligence and provides relevant, timely, objective, and cogent all source Defense Intelligence to the Commander and other users, and transforming theater intelligence activities to better leverage the capabilities of the theater and global intelligence communities and safeguard United States personnel and interests within the Korea Theater of Operations (KTO). What you will do
Produce intelligence products associated with North Korea including, but not limited to, the topics of: military, political leadership, national military strategy, strategic doctrine, regional relations, and security issues
Maintains current North Korean Order of Battle data ensuring currency and completeness
Access and assess other databases and their currency and completeness for applicability and inclusion into the Alliance Database (ADB); as required (this effort requires focused database retrievals, interviews with analysts, and operators, and synthesis of operational requirements)
Maintain and manipulate intelligence information sharing databases, data formats/products, and shared directories, including especially MIDB and associated platforms
Conduct all-source analysis, with the primary focus on air, naval, ground, Political and Economic (P&E), missile, Special Operations Forces (SOF), and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)
Track and coordinate intelligence production requirements; preparing studies, publications, and briefings
Assist in identifying potential high interest intelligence
Prepare, review, and evaluate Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs)
Develop and project data used to draw conclusions, and estimates probabilities based on historical and current collection data
Determine shortfalls in data currency, quality, and consistency, and initiate fixes through command channels
Ensures successful ADB input to the Common Operating Picture (COP), so relevant OOB / ORBAT depiction, targeting tools, database nominations, and infrastructure production databases are in synchronization
What we are looking for
0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience
Experience supporting military operations
Must be able to maintain and manipulate intelligence information sharing databases, data formats/products, and shared directories, especially MIDB or associated platforms
Capable of supporting daily operations, exercises, crisis situations, and wartime
Able to work well with team members in 24/7, high OPTEMPO environment
Ability to conduct focused database retrievals
Ability to conduct interviews with analysts and operators on relevant topics, including debriefing skills
Knowledge of/experience with intelligence automated systems, including: COLISEUM, MIDB, CHROME, HOTR, CRATE, and Intellipedia
Must be able to process, analyze, and consolidate Requests For Information (RFI)
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, with a continued ability to obtain a Poly
Bonus points for…
Bachelors or Masters with 4-6 years of experience; specialized training and 4-8 years of experience; or equivalent academic experience
Korea experience
Familiar with the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) for Korea
Attended/served as SME for intel related conferences, meetings, exercises and working groups
Excellent organization and communication skills
Extensive experience with COLISEUM, MIDB, CHROME, HOTR, CRATE, and Intellipedia
Physical Requirements
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
