KBR is seeking an Intern for FPGA Test Development in Beavercreek, OH. KBR has developed a set of complex System-on-Chip (SoC) with a key component being an embedded field programmable gate array (eFPGA). There is also an off the shelf, Xilinx FPGA-based test bed that has been developed to perform functional testing. The goal is to increase the capabilities of the test bed with enhanced performance testing. An addition goal is to use the SoC’s eFPGA in conjunction with the testbed’s performance tests.
Responsibilities:
Understand FPGA tool flow such as synthesis, mapping, place and route, and bitstream generation.
Understanding of a complex SoC architecture and implementing RTL-based test bitstreams into the SoC’s eFPGA
Implement speed, thruput performance testing with guidance from team and mentors
Utilize the complex SoC eFPGA in some complex test or basic application
Required Experience:
Verilog or VHDL programming knowledge
Work with debugging FPGA/embedded systems
Digital Design
Understanding of navigating the Linux OS environment
US citizen required
