Title:
Cryptologic Systems Engineer – TS/SCI
Support the National Reconnaissance Office Communications Directorate by evaluating and certifying the implementation, integration, and embedment of cryptography and cryptographic-related cyber security solutions into customer-owned or controlled Space systems, through robust cryptographic security engineering and information systems security engineering disciplines.
Key duties include:
Providing technical assessments and trades in support of cryptographic and cyber security architecture definition and requirements analysis.
Assisting in: requirements definition; selecting the best available Space, ground, and/or terrestrial cryptographic solution; and Space and Terrestrial COMSEC architecture development.
Providing technical assistance and coordination with industry to resolve issues and anomalies impacting COMSEC Key management requirements.
Representing the customer at various national cyber security working groups, systems Contractors working groups, and advising Government leadership on program status.
Provide advice and guidance for the certification, and production of Top Secret and Below (TSAB) NSA-approved cryptographic security products and solutions for use in NRO or DoD systems.
Collaborating with Small-Sat programs and NSA to provide, where appropriate, non-standard NSA approved cryptographic solutions supporting the Small-Sat enterprise.
Supporting the Government program manager to establish and manage customers enterprise cryptographic baseline. This support includes the testing, validation, and baseline integration and implementation support for all terrestrial hardware, firmware and software upgrades being introduced into an enterprise network.
Qualifications:
Three (3+) years experience with Cryptologic engineering and certification
DOD / IC space and ground experience
Bachelors Degree in a STEM field is highly desired
Clearance: Active TS/SCI CI ploy required to be considered for this position
