Title:
OE System Engineer – TS/SCI
KBR is seeking an OE Systems Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. KBR’s National Security Solutions (NSS) division provides high-end engineering, intelligence, cyber security, missile defense, and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities, helping them solve their most difficult challenges. In this position, you’d be working on a team making a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.
While your duties may fluctuate, you will primarily be responsible for:
Providing technical leadership for the integration of mission systems
Analyzing user needs, concept of operations, and high-level systems architectures to develop system requirements
Providing technical support to government points of contacts
Identifying and communicating system engineering risks, issues, opportunities, assumptions, mitigations, and dependencies
Collaborating with SETA team members, development contractors, and customer forums
Effectively communicating and interfacing with engineers from various contractors and government organizations
Developing assessments and briefings to a variety of audiences, must be able to convey information in a clear and articulate manner to Government leadership
Required Qualifications
Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Poly
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
3 years technical experience
Direct and current experience with National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)
Knowledge of GEOINT and SIGINT overall space and ground architecture including mission control and/or mission processing functions
Program lifecycle experience from concept development and design to deployment, operations and maintenance, decommission
Experience with conops requirements development, interface control documentation, technical specification review, architecture development
Experience in mission operations environment – ops tempo, performance characterization, utility analysis, system calibration
Desired Qualifications
Familiar with MBSE/Digital Engineering
