Software Engineer
KBR’s National Security Solutions (NSS) provides high-end engineering, intelligence, cyber security, missile defense, and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities, helping them solve their most difficult challenges. In this position, you’d be working on a team with a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.
KBR is seeking a software engineer to develop and maintain space and defense systems architecture data management software and related local and cloud-based infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain, update, and develop software for data integrations with commercial and government tool APIs for modeling and simulation applications
Maintain, update, and develop database integrations for custom data visualization and analysis capabilities.
Participate in reviewing and improving object-oriented software and system models to improve overall architecture design and simulation and analysis efficiency.
Required Experience:
Active TS/SCI clearance
Computer Science, software engineering, or software architecture degree
7+ years Java, Groovy, and Python development experience
Including experience with Object oriented programming and Git/source code management tools
Linux server and software administration experience, CentOS or RedHat preferred
Database administration
Desired Experience:
JavaScript experience
Agile SW Development, and DevOps or DevSecOps deployment experience
NoSQL database experience, specifically graph database experience
Experience with integrating authentication and authorization services, LDAP and/or PKI
Magicdraw/Cameo experience
Unified Modeling Language, System Modeling Language
