Ground Systems Research & Development Systems Engineer
Provides Systems Engineering and Program Management support for the acquisition of intelligence community (IC) national intelligence ground Research & Development systems (hardware and software). cooperatively with the
Conducts system-level architecture analysis and evaluation,
Supports and guides the customer through acquisition process
Reviews Ground System concepts, systems, technologies, designs, architectures, interfaces
Conducts feasibility assessments of systems and technologies for future communication systems, ground systems, and operational concepts.
Conducts Analysis of alternatives to optimize cost, and schedule and performance
Provides technical and programmatic support through the project life cycle including concept development, system definition, acquisition planning, source selection, system design, development, integration, and test.
Provides software Development support, to include planning, execution, monitoring of software development contracts.
Provides briefings and reports including technical and programmatic assessments, results, conclusions, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph
Active member of an enterprise R&D, learning, and innovation environment
Bachelor degree in business, engineering, science, or related discipline
Fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience
Knowledge of Space ground systems
Agile Software development methodologies
