KBR is looking for an Electronic Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) Engineer to support the Space Systems Integration and Test Group at the Applied Physics Lab.
***Must be a U.S. Citizen***
The EGSE Engineer’s primary responsibility will be hardware, firmware, and/or software design. This position will also support technical reviews, procedure development and documentation. The EGSE Engineer will be responsible for testing, maintenance, & individual troubleshooting of hardware.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
2 + years of professional engineer experience
Electrical design and development experience
Familiarity or Experience with the following:
Schematic capture electronic design automation (EDA) tools (i.e., Mentor Graphics or Altium)
FPGA-based testing techniques and VHDL
Spacewire, RS-422, UART, and I2C interfaces and protocols
LabVIEW software and programming languages such as python
L3 InControl software in developing test scripts and test conducting of aerospace hardware

investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information~~
***Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Clearance****
