Currently, ManTech is seeking a CNO Developer/Reverse Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. As a CNO Developer/Reverse Engineer on our team you will forensically analyze malicious code; tearing apart binaries with a willingness to frequently learn something new. You will work on projects that are truly unique and interesting.These projects are important and impactful to our national security.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develops hardware or software based CNO capabilities
Supports operations planning, scenario testing, and execution
Performs applied research and development to analyze, design, and identify desired programmatic behaviors
Evaluates and analyzes complex malicious code through the use of tools, including disassemblers, debuggers, hex editors, un-packers, virtual machines, and network sniffers
Develops and executes plans for new technologies to enhance security capabilities including, perimeter security protections, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, monitoring tools, and data analytics and analysis
Verifies the quality of CNO capabilities.
Basic Qualifications:
Four or more years of CNO development experience
Knowledge of at least one major operating system, including Windows or Linux
Knowledge of core computer architecture fundamentals such as boot process, kernel architecture and user space processes.
Knowledge of languages such as Python for small proof-of-concepts.
Knowledge of static and dynamic analysis tools such X-Ways, FTK Imager, WinHex, Windbg, x64dbg
Knowledge of at least one disassemblers such as IDA, Ghidra and Binary Ninja
Ability to proficiently read at least one of the following architectures: X86/64, ARM/ARM32 or MIPS
Ability to write detailed reports and communicate concepts and ideas.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Security Clearance Requirements:
Active/Current TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
