Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Records Management Officer to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Creating, maintaining, tracking, organizing, and managing all security files as directed by PSD both internally and released to other facilities.
Conducting a biannual file audit and report findings to the USG.
Providing security files to PSD personnel for action following prescribed guidelines.
Assisting with general office duties, which may include photocopying, faxing, packing, data entry, mailing documents, and other similar tasks.
Maintaining confidentiality of assets and information pertaining to personnel security.
Assisting with file digitization and other efficiency efforts, to include the preparation and scanning of files.
Managing files that require expedited processing.
Keeping daily metrics of work completed.
Conducting additional tasks as required to assist in the management of security files and documentation and may be surged and/or permanently reassigned internally to PSD to support mission needs.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite (2010 or later).
Demonstrated customer service skills.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
Database data entry skills.
Ability to learn various databases during performance of the contract.
Prioritize competing tasks and possess effective time management skills.
Be physically capable of reaching over their head and bending to the floor to retrieve files.
Maintain a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience or High School/GED and eight years of experience.
Experience in processing personnel records as they relate to background investigations.
Ability to elicit, articulate, and document information in a well-organized manner.
Ability to serve as the Records Management focal point and assist with onboarding and training of new personnel, as required.
Experience as a Team Lead of contractor personnel.
Demonstrated expert knowledge of Federal Investigative Standards, SEAD 4 and E.O. 12968.
Demonstrated expert level skill in reviewing work of subordinates and providing feedback, plus
taking corrective action.
Security Clearance Requirements:
An active and current TS/SCI with Poly is required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
