Responsibilities
Be part of our exciting Agile team supporting development in a hybrid-cloud datacenter environment, utilizing DevSecOps frameworks and processes to continuously and rapidly deliver requirements in a mission critical Linux-based environment to world-wide users. Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer (Linux) to perform systems engineering and software development in multiple large enterprise server, Linux platform environments. Responsibilities include:Experience providing engineering infrastructure support.Support development and maintenance of systems baseline.Perform technical evaluations and analysis.Assess server loads and work with technical leads to develop tuning recommendations.
Qualifications
BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2 or HS 8-10Experience with Linux including Red Hat and its derivatives (centOS, RHEL, RockyOS)Experience in shell scripting and manipulating the Linux command line (Python, Ruby, Bash, PHP, etc.)Experience in cloud environments (Amazon Web Services (AWS), CloudFormation, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc.)Experience with cloud computing, including PaaS, IaaS and SaaSExperience with configuration management software (e.g., Ansible, Puppet Manifests, Foreman)TS/SCI W POLY

Target Salary Range
$86,000 – $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
