Responsibilities
The SharePoint Developer is responsible for the design, development, and testing of Java and SharePoint based application architectures in an Agile development environment. The web based application architectures include web applications, web services, and database operations. The SharePoint Developer is an analytical thinker with an established approach to design & problem solving. Candidate should be equally comfortable writing new code and refactoring an existing codebase. Candidate must be familiar with Agile Software Development methodologies. Candidate will support the migration of the SharePoint environment across various versions and into a cloud based hosting environment. The SharePoint Developer will perform the following tasks; translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications; ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications; identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems; maintain code quality, organization, and automation; critique code of others by participating in peer reviews; participate in customer team meetings; and work on change requests or bugs as assigned by the task lead. The candidate will apply an enterprise-wide set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design and construction of information systems on an enterprise-wide basis or across a major sector of the enterprise. Develop analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions. Perform enterprise wide strategic systems planning, business information planning, business and analysis. Perform process and data modeling in support of the planning and analysis efforts using both manual and automated tools; such as Integrated Computer-Aided Software Engineering tools. Apply reverse engineering and re-engineering disciplines to develop migration strategic and planning documents. Provide technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelor’s degrees from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 8 years of professional experience; OR 6 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree OR 12 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.Must have a current TS/SCI with Poly to be consideredHands-on experience developing applications in SharePoint, significant development skills on JAVA/J2EE Technologies, understanding of JEE architecture and database fundamentals with working experience at least on one of the databases Oracle 12c or PostgreSQL 9.x,Experience with a Spring 4.x framework (including Spring MVC). Object Oriented Analysis & design skills and methodical troubleshooting skills. Experience with development of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) or strong concepts on Microservice Architecture (MSA), and SOAP & REST web services.Requires experience in the following areas: Java, Eclipse, Tomcat or WildFly, JVM, Apache CXF, Apache Axis, ORM framework, JDBC, SQL, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, HTML 5, Spring Batch, Log4J, JUnit, Jmockit Subversion, SonarQube and Maven.PREFERRED SKILLS:Hands on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud components for Microservices (Netflix Zuul, Eureka, Config Server, Ribbon client, FEIGN client, etc.), XML, Web Services, Apache, JAX, WS-Security, Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Underscore.js, iText, POI Framework, Web application integration with Web Services, and Web application design.Working knowledge on Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD). Good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to drive the tasks under multiple constraints.

Salary Range
Salary Minimum: $57,500Salary Mid: $115,000Salary Maximum: $143,800The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton’s total compensation package for employees.
