Responsibilities
Be part of our exciting Agile team supporting development in a hybrid-cloud datacenter environment, utilizing DevSecOps frameworks and processes to continuously and rapidly deliver requirements in a mission critical environment. Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer to perform systems engineering activities. Responsibilities include:Establishing overall strategic network standards and priorities.Providing technical guidance and direction for TCP/IP transport network design and engineering, network routing protocols, advanced virtual networking technologies.Analyzing the optimization of network system performance.Overseeing the strategic interface of network systems configuration.Assessing network engineering technologies, computing systems hardware and software protocols.Providing high-level technical advice and guidance to managers and technical resources on network technologies to meet current and future organizational needs.Identifying INFOSEC and COMSEC security requirements for the network.
Qualifications
BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5Proven experience in one or more of the following:Cisco IOS, including switching, routing, segment routing and other technologiesRadio Frequency (RF) and spectrum engineeringOptical networking technology and engineeringSatellite communications engineeringCloud experience (one or more of the following):AWS (VPC, transit gateway, private link, ELB, etc.)Azure (connectivity services – Vnet, virtual WAN, VPN gateway, application protection, application delivery and network monitoring, etc.)Experience with Cisco WAE, Cisco Cross Works Optima or other similar tools desiredCisco Certifications desiredCurrent TS/SCI with poly required

Target Salary Range
$112,000 – $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
