JOB DESCRIPTION
Description
SAIC is seeking Vulnerability Assessment Analyst to join its Blue Team Vulnerability Assessment Program in Chantilly, Virginia. This position requires an active TS/SCI Clearance with Poly.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform technical evaluations to determine the security posture of Information Environments, to include isolated system enclaves
Utilize automated tools, techniques, processes, and procedures in order to identify and analyze system vulnerabilities
Conduct network mapping and threat modeling
Identify and recommend solutions to mitigate discovered vulnerabilities
Provide briefings or technical feedback to stakeholders, as necessary
Research, evaluate and recommend new security technologies and techniques to enhance the existing program capabilities
Support cyber metrics development, maintenance and reporting procedures
Qualifications
Typical Education and Experience:
Bachelors and 5 years or more experience; Masters and 3 years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience
Relevant professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
Current or ability to obtain a DoD Directive 8570/8140 IAT/IAM II Certification
Desired Skills (knowledge or experience within one or more of the following areas):
Cyber threats and methodologies
Researching, identifying and analyzing security flaws/vulnerabilities
Mapping networks
Incident Response
Forensics Analysis
Pen-testing
Security countermeasures and mitigation strategies
