Description
SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.
We are seeking highly motivated Computer Systems Security Manager (CSSM) to join our team and leverage their technical expertise to assist with maintaining the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of the Sponsor’s computer systems. As the CSSM, you will manage a team of cybersecurity and information technology (IT) professionals, develop security best practices, and take responsibility for keeping data and information secure.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Developing and delivering information systems security standards, best practices, architecture, and systems to ensure information systems security across the enterprise
Implementing procedures and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information systems security standards
Architecting, planning, configuring, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading COTS/GOTS and custom tool sets to address vulnerabilities and/or implement security controls
Researching and evaluating cyber capabilities, and new security tools and products against operational requirements
Providing leadership, management, and direction of cybersecurity activities
Overseeing, evaluating, and supporting the security authorization process
Mitigating risks by adapting new security strategies
Advising management-level personnel and decision-makers on cybersecurity matters
Ensuring project milestones are met and adhering to approved budgets
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Network Security, or related field
5+ years of experience with enterprise security systems
5+ years of experience with incident response plans, vulnerability scans, and penetration tools
Advanced knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of information systems security technologies, IT policies, application, software, and hardware security design and implementation, networking and communication protocols, and data encryption tools and methodologies
Proven ability to mentor teams and individuals
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
